ಸಹೋದಯ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 26.07.2022 ರಂದು ಸಹೋದಯ ಬೆಥನಿ ಸೇವಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದ ತಿಂಗಳ ಸಭೆಯ ದಿನದಂದು ಮಾನವ ಕಳ್ಳ ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ತಡೆ ದಿನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹೋದಯ ಬೆಥನಿ ಸೇವಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಭ| ಲೀನಾ ಡಿ ಕೋಸ್ಟ ಇವರು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಭ| ಡೋನಾ (ಬೆಥನಿ ಕಾನ್ವೆಂಟಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ) ಇವರು ಸಸಿಗೆ ನೀರೆರೆಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಪಡಿ ಚೈಲ್ಡ್‍ಲೈನ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ದೀಕ್ಷಿತ್ ಇವರು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಈ ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ಯಾವೆಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿ ಭಿಕ್ಷಾಟನೆಗಾಗಿ ಬಳಸುವುದು, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸದ ಆಮಿಷಾ ಒಡಿ ್ಡ ಮೋಸದಿಂದ ಇತರ ದಂಧೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸುವುದು ಮೊದಲಾದವುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ತಡೆಯಬಹುದೆಂಬುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಣ್ಣ ಕಥೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಹರಿಣಿ ಇವರು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತವಾಗಿ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿರುವ 80 ಮಹಿಳಾ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹೋದಯ ಬೆಥನಿ ಸೇವಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನಳಿನಿ, ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನಿತಾ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆಯಾದ ಕು| ನಂದಾ ಪಾಯಸ್ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕು| ರಂಜಿನಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು, ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಶ್ವಿನಿ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುನೀತಾ ಇವರ ಧನ್ಯವಾದದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

World day against trafficking

On Saturday 26th July the awareness program was organized at our centre Sahodaya Bethany Seva Kendra Bendur Mangalore, on the occasion of World day against trafficking in persons which falls on 30th July, there were 58 women . Resource person Mr Deekshit district coordinator of Child help line explained in detail through talk and by examples of raiding & rescue of victims during the couples of months. There was good interaction from the women. Mrs Harini social activist created awareness towards prevention of human trafficking by presenting current statistics of missing women and children in Dakshina kannada. They were made aware of the present trends and cautioned regarding the safety of their children. Sr Dona the Superior of Bethany convent appreciated for extensive service of Sahodaya in the wellbeing of women, children and domestic workers in the surrounding areas of Mangalore. Sr Leena The program coordinator give a brief message of the theme of the World day against trafficking in persons for this year 30th July, is that the “Use and abuse of technology” explaining she said that this year’s theme focuses on the role of technology as a tool that can both enable and impede human trafficking its right way of use will be a great opportunity in the future in eradicating human trafficking let us pray and hope that all our children and women will have safer days. Ms Ranjini compeered the days program Mrs Ashwini welcomed the all present and Mrs Sunitha proposed vote of thanks.
